This made me wonder what you use to corral all the titbits of everyday life. We all have some of these mementos passed down by a loving friend or relative and, if you're like me, they are stored away for safe keeping. I like to use old french hotel porcelain dishes and saucers to hold my paraphernalia on my desk, guest soaps and as coasters throughout the house.
We always have a selection of vintage and newer finds in our shop.

What a beautiful idea and picture! I use a little tray from Paris, a mug from Cambridge University, and a spherical little handmade vase from India -- all mementoes of interesting experiences. I'd love to hear others' ideas!
