Did You Know?

This famous statue by Augustus Rodin in surrounds by roses in the front of his home? This is one of my favorite museums in all of Paris. During spring when the plane trees are just opening the rear garden walk is beautiful with his sculptures mixed about. The cafe at the rear of the gardens is wonderful, too!

Yearnings!

There is a heated debate in Paris as to who has the best tasting macarons.  I am partial to one but the debate rages!

Do you have a preference?
I can just taste these and wish I could walk around the corner and get a few!

Alone In the Snow

Imagine being the only person on this snow covered street.  Everyone is snug in their flats warm as toast.  I wonder if she is walking home or to meet friends?

Versailles in the Snow

Not a trace of anyone to be seen.  I don't know how that is possible, especially  there, but this takes my breathe away.

Celebrations in Paris

Paris is filled with New Years Eve celebrations.  They even have events tailored to an age group.  This reveillon is for people thirty and over~ Oui?

No celebration is complete without fireworks from the Eiffel Tower.

Wishing you peace and joy
 in 2013.

Warmly,
Bird
